Okay. So. I have no idea what the fucking refresh rate on this gif is but it just managed to scare the hell out of me.

I had the image open in another tab and was staring for ages trying to see if something was hidden somewhere in the background. Nothing. Move on to another tab. Later I’m closing tabs and I get to that one and it’s just Wil staring into my fucking soul before sliding back down.

Agreed. I’m guessing this is one of those ‘myths’ that Humanity has about Vulcans and the Vulcans just play completely into it to have an advantage. But the longer a human works with a Vulcan, the sooner they realize that it’s utter bullshit and that most Vulcans are a bunch of lying emotional sluts

I didn’t mind the cartoon portions. Weaving a story with science is pretty cool. But Neil was a really shitty choice to take over for Sagan and his frequent meddling with the series made it nearly unwatchable. His voice is just so fucking grating. Every line delivered like he’s some wise and all knowing being. Arrogance unparalleled. Only confirmed by StarTalk and every appearance he has made on everything. Not to mention the pervy shit he’s guilty of.

No. I haven’t. They were banned from this community 3 months ago and I forgot they exist until they commented above. I would like examples of me “following this person”. I am also not a moderator nor an admin. I had no hand in their banning.

No, of course not. If you want to identify using those pronouns then I’ll do my best to respect that and use them. Can’t say I might not fuck up occasionally and use the wrong one, but I make an active effort because I want everyone to feel welcome.

This person is using those pronouns to attack being trans as a whole. They were listing off a slew of comments that were attacking everyone in Starfleet for being ‘transphobic’ because no one would respect Seven of Nines wishes to be called a drone when she first was disconnected from the collective. Doesn’t matter that Seven chose her own pronouns. Doesn’t matter that Seven was literally brainwashed and mindcontrolled into having no identity anymore.

When the mods (I can’t remember who it was) pushed back on that take, this transphobe got really aggressive.

I respect people who use different pronouns with it/its. I just don’t respect that person who uses those pronouns.
