I’m just a weird, furry, pan guy (cis he/him). I also have a big, blue username. I tend to edit everything I write like a million times within the span of a couple minutes after posting, so if you see one thing and suddenly it changes, that was just a first draft. 😅

The world has changed… I smell it in the air.

Some of what you may have heard about the range and such might not be about 5G phone networks but 5G wifi. Any range differences aren’t really even gonna be noticed compared to 4G most of the time.

5G(hz) wifi has more capacity and is faster, but has limited range and doesn’t penetrate walls as well as 2.4GHz

I only find search engines somewhat irrelevant because I’m almost never searching for, like, a website. I’m searching for information or software that’s compiled on 1 of 5 websites and I can usually use the search function on those specific sites.

Used to use search engines to find new websites. Back when Google was new and it was easier to find cool stuff with keywords rather than by adding .com to random words in the URL bar.

I can do that with a cheap piece of shit novelty toy I got in high school and it doesn’t have to be surgically installed into my brain; it’s just a hat.

Or like a UMD or mini disc? Still have to insert it into something to read and write, but the discs themselves are enclosed and protected unlike CDs and DVDs and Blu-ray. Basically they’re floppy disks, but instead of magnetic tape inside the shell, it’s an optical disc.

It’s funny to think about people being trapped in a holodeck program that’s gone berserk and, like, they have to try and find each other in the hologram but can’t even though they aren’t more than 10 feet away.

No, it’s Lwaxana Troi.

My understanding is that it uses force fields to give you an infinite treadmill, yeah.

The same way the water does; by causing shorts.

It’s not necessarily the rice itself doing anything, but dirt and particulates on the rice which are conductive and small enough to get inside the device.

Water will dry; dirt and shit won’t evaporate if it gets inside the device.

Do you believe that dirt is made up of a single substance? There are salts and metals in dirt.

There are no metals in metallic form in soil.

There certainly is in small little pieces that have been pulverized from various shit like erosion. Run a magnet through some dirt and watch it pick up tiny bits of iron.

Maybe if you hadn’t been a condescending jackass in your first comment, he wouldn’t be angry at you. You didn’t just give a reason to hate AT&T; you made some unwarranted remarks about what you perceived the OP to think and were speaking down to them.

Technically you can do so now. But you would need a metal 3D printer to build it (or make it out of plastic I guess). I remember reading something about a dude who bought a industrial 3D printer setup just so he could print out a Rolls Royce Phantom.

I just download .MP3 or m4as of everything I add to my liked songs on Spotify. I pay for Spotify, but the offline functionality is bogus so I also keep regular copies of everything and don’t rely on whatever dumbass propriety offline format Spotify uses because it never actually plays anything when offline that way.

I purposely went out and found every super adult and suggestive grunge song they covered with Kidz Bop because it’s hilarious hearing little kids singing Nirvana and Bush songs

I love Dick Cheese ever since Dawn of the Dead used his version of Disturbed’s Down With the Sickness 😁

I kinda did last time I needed to download anything. Not sure if it’s still working though. I used an app that would find and convert the songs out of a playlist from YouTube and other sources. But even at that time, it was a pain finding what I used; plenty of things claimed to do this but most of them were defunct and didn’t function.

It would be badass if they could add a headphone jack through OTA updates.
